In a follow-up to yesterday’s post, Tony Yayo was arraigned in Manhattan on Sunday on charges of assault and endangering the welfare of a child after his alleged assault on 14-year-old James Rosemond.
Yayo was released on $5000 bail.
Rapper DG Yola was shot in the face this weekend during a failed robbery attempt. He was driving in Atlanta and stopped at a red light; an unknown assailant shot him in the face. Apparently the bullet entered one cheek and came out the other.
He was admitted to a local hospital and he is recovering, allegedly already up and about and back to writing. His family has requested privacy and they appreciate the good wishes and kindness of Yola’s fans. His debut album is due out in June.

Whatever. Facts are facts. Read it and weep. Britney Spears took a one hour hip-hop dance class at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood on Friday night and we think she’s still crazy.
Tony Yayo was arrested for allegedly attacking Jimmy Henchmen’s son. Yayo turned himself in to the NYC police yesterday on charges of harassment and endangerment of the welfare of a child. Allegedly he approached and slapped the 14-year-old boy. Witnesses claim he also flashed a gun that he had in the waistband of his pants and pushed him against a wall. They also claim that he asked the boy how old he was but then said “I don’t give a fuck how old you are – Fuck Czar Entertainment!” which was when he then slapped him.
Although he turned himself in, Yayo later bragged that 50 Cent would have him out of jail within a day.
Snoop Dogg has been denied a visa that he would need to enter the UK for a series of planned concerts. Publicists for the tour announced the news Saturday.
Although he was expected to play five gigs in Britain, at the moment it may not happen. Snoop has issued a statement that he would like to know how he can rectify the situation and will talk to officials in order to reassure them over any issues they may have.
The concert for Tuesday at Wembley Arena in London will continue without him, with P Diddy and others performing.
A spokesperson for the Home Office was unable to comment specifically but she did remind those with questions that any foreign citizens may be barred from entering the country if there is any concern about their presence there. However, it’s likely that it’s related to April 2006 when he and five others were arrested for violent disorder and brawling. He was barred from re-entering Britain in May of that year. Only time will tell if he can regain access in time for his tour.
Entertainment Weekly has revealed that kick-ass producer Timbaland is gearing up to do a new music project featuring a collaboration between Justin Timberlake and Madonna.
That’s going to be interesting, I can’t wait to hear that.
Rapper MIMS performed his hit single “This Is Why I’m Hot” on Friday in front of thousands of near naked women and men for the BET Spring Bling ’07 in Riviera Beach Florida.
According to MIMS: “It was incredible out there. The energy is (crazy)! I love the 561 (area code). This is one of the first places where they started playing my song so I have to show them love.”
Spring Bling ’07 continues this weekend with performances from Akon, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo and others.

We’re extremely sad to report that Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle who was almost six months pregnant has had a miscarriage. Tiny is the ex-girlfriend of T.I. and former member of R&B group Xscape. The father of the baby was T.I.
Our condolences go out to Tameka and T.I. and their families. Things like this should just never happen.

Reports around the web are that this album are that the album is hot.
The album is being produced by megaproducer Timbaland (which explains the presence of Justin Timberlake) and his feuding partner Scott Storch, along with Wyclef Jean and others.
