Kelis is releasing a Greatest Hits album. Kelis – The Hits will feature fourteen of Mrs. Jones’ signature tracks from the period between 1999 t0 2006. The tracks will be taken from the Grammy-nominated singer’s four albums, ‘Kaleidoscope’; ‘Wanderland’ (which remains unreleased in the US to date) ‘Tasty,’ and 2006’s ‘Kelis Was Here.’ The disc will also feature three additional tracks. Rita Marley’s 2004 autobiography, No Woman No Cry: My Life With Bob Marley, is being turned into a motion picture.
“I’ve waited a long time to tell this story, about growing up in Jamaica and meeting Bob and making our music and falling in love and making our family. All that, and all that we went through, went into this. Now is that time. This is my story,” the wife of the reggae star said in a statement on Monday.
