Aretha Franklin could lose her home to the Tax Man. The Queen of Soul says an attorney’s mistake caused her $700,000 1927 brick-mansion in Detroit to slip into foreclosure over $445 in 2005 taxes and late fees. Arethan now owes $19,192 in back taxes on the property between 2005-2007. The legendary songstress also owes $18,746 in back taxes and fees for the 2006 and 2007 tax years, but foreclosure proceedings on those debts wouldn’t begin until next year.

Grammy Award-winning artists Erykah Badu and John Legend will jump aboard Tom Joyner’s ninth annual Fantastic Voyage. The Fantastic Voyage willl set sail May 18 – 25 from Miami on a seven day, six night cruise via the Royal Caribbean International’s ‘Freedom of the Seas. The singers will perform in a special cruise-passengers only concert at The Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico., hosted by Tom Joyner. Other celebrities joining Tom and the crew on the friendly seas include: Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson, The Stylistics, The Emotions, Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, SWV, Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith, D.L.
