Xzibit newborn son died early Monday morning, TMZ reports. The rapper’s infant son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, was born prematurely on May 15, X says the baby’s lungs were not strong enough to function on their own, Xavier died at 3:30 AM.
On a personal blog, written early Tuesday, Xzibit says: “life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family.”

The gold-toothed hip hop hype man dumped Flavor of Love 3 winner Thing (just like Hoopz and Deelishis before her) and proposed to longtime love Liz, the mother of his seventh child, the adorable Karma on the FOL 3 Reunion Show this weekend. New York Governor David Paterson has granted a full and unconditional pardon to 80s-era rap legend Slick Rick for the attempted murders of two men in 1991. Gov. Paterson says he was compiled to pardon Rick, who is now a landlord in the Bronx, after learning that the “Children’s Story” rapper has remained on the “straight and narrow” since his release from prison in 1997. Slick Rick has volunteered to counsel youths against violence.
