The Senator from Illinois just made history after being elected the first Black President of the United States of America.
The new First Family, which includes the President-Elect, his wife of 16 years, Michelle Obama, and their two daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, will move into The White House on Inauguration Day January 20.
I really don’t have words right now. This is a very emotional moment….one I didn’t think I’d see in my lifetime. It is a moment that proves that no barrier, not even race, can hold you back if you don’t allow it to.

Oprah revealed her Election Night Plans in an interview with NYC’s Power 105.1′s Ed Lover on Tuesday morning. The Queen of Talk, a devout Obama supporter, says she’ll be on hand for Barack Obama’s post-election rally tonight in Chicago’s Grant Park.
“Every time something else happens in the polls Stedman says, ‘Get your dress ready. Do you need the ironing board?’”
“We’re going to remember this forever,” Oprah said of Senator Obama’s historic run for The White House. “Your kids will be telling their kids that they were there in the booth with their parents.”
Beyonce is throwing her support behind the Democratic presidential ticket this Election Day.
“I feel like we have grown so much as a nation and we will continue to grow because of Mr. Obama,” the singer, who will be releasing her new album I Am… Sasha Fierce on November 18 says in a new interview with PopEater.
Bey’s other half, Jay-Z, has already been a strong supporter of the campaign, even performing at benefits and rallies across the country in support of the Illinois senator.
“I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Obama, his wife and his children, and they are the American dream,” she says. “They are so elegant, so classy, so intelligent and everything that I want to be. They make me really proud of my country.”
