Tyra Banks’ Emmy-winning talk daytime talk show will move to the CW for its fifth season, which is scheduled to begin in September 2009, Variety reports.

“I’m thrilled to have The Tyra Banks Show join the CW, where I already have an amazing partnership and where my audience knows to look for me,” the former supermodel said in a statement Friday. “With ‘Top Model’ in prime-time and ‘The Tyra Banks Show’ in daytime, it’s a match made in heaven.”

At the request of students, Ludlum Elementary School in Long Island, NY’s Hempstead Union Free School District was re-named Barack Obama Elementary School in honor of President-Elect Obama.

“Just to watch these kids after the board voted on what they asked them to do, they were so elated,” school district superintendent Dr. Joseph Laria told ABC News. “You want to talk about ‘Yes we can?’ That was a lesson in democracy.”

Wyclef Jean’s Miami mansion has fallen into foreclosure. The singer reportedly owes over $2 million in mortgage payments on unfinished home.

According to TMZ.com, Miami-Dade County will auction off the house on December 12.

And it wasn’t just the mortgage that wasn’t paid — court docs show there were plenty of people working on the house that haven’t gotten paid either.

“I’d like to thank everybody who accepted me trying to break new boundaries in music,” Kanye said as he accepted the award for Favorite rap/hip-hop album category for his Graduation album.

“It’s our responsibility as musicians to keep pushing each other, to keep competing with each other. It’s a really great competition,” Kanye told the audience. “I see artists like Beyonce and Alicia Keys and Rihanna and Chris Brown and Chris Martin all in the same room and we’re going to push this music to the point where it was like in the 1960s and ’70s where you talk about Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. We will be the new Beatles. We will be the new Hendrix. They say in any other industry, you know, you’re supposed to do better than the past … but when you say, ‘I want to be Elvis,’ they say, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ Well, I wanna be Elvis.”
