Christina Milian “Shocked” By Nick Cannon Mariah Carey Marriage
Like much of the music industry, Christina Milian said she was shocked by Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s secret wedding in the Bahamas earlier this year.
“I definitely was shocked like everybody else,” Christina Milian, who dated her Love Don’t Cost a Thing costar before he cheated on her in 2005, tells Rap-Up Magazine in its Winter 08/09 issue.
“I was like, ‘Really?’ It just seemed like a weird match. But I was happy for him. I always feel like Nick works hard to get what he wants, whether that be women – that’s how he got me.”
Oprah PETA “2008 Person Of The Year”
Animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has named Oprah Winfrey its “Person of the Year 2008.”
“She has used her show to uncover horrific cases of cruelty to animals in puppy mills and on factory farms, and Oprah even used the show to highlight the cruelty-free vegan diet that she tried.”
Oprah will be presented with an award plaque and a letter of appreciation.
Rihanna Feeding America Inauguration Charity Ball
Rihanna is set to headline an inauguration charity ball for Feeding America and the Recording Industry Association of America on January 20.
“We are thrilled to have Rihanna’s participation in the inauguration charity ball,” says Feeding America president and CEO Vicki Escarra.
All proceeds from the ball will benefit Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.
