Singer Erykah Badu and hip-hop star Jay Electronica welcomed a daughter on Sunday.

The rapper announced the happy news with an update on his online Twitter page, writing: “Feb 1 2009 my first child, my daughter was born at 1.30 pm exactly. It’s the happiest day of my life.”

Erykah is already mother to son Seven Sirius with Outkast rapper Andre 3000, and daughter Puma Rose with rapper The D.O.C.

It’s looks like our girl Vivica A. Fox has been hit especially hard by the global recession. The former Soul Food star has signed on as the celebrity spokesperson for the recently revamped Psychic Friends Network.
