Talib Kweli married his girlfriend DJ Eque in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by family and friends over the weekend.

The pair exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony at a private residence in Bel Air, California on Saturday, May 9. Attending the intimate wedding affair were Kweli and Eque’s family and some celebrity friends, including Queen Latifah, ?uestlove, and actor Adam Rodriguez.

Talib Kweli and DJ Eque have been dating and engaged since at 2007.

Rapper Alfamega has been dropped from T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint after The Smoking Gun released documents revealing that Alfamega was a Drug Enforcement Administration informant in the mid-’90s, providing key testimony that put at least one alleged drug trafficker in prison.

On Thursday, T.I. announcement that he was severing all ties with his one-time sidekick: “Even though all our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media. He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past, and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior.”

Beyonce is planning to take a two-year break from her platinum-selling recording career once her I Am…Sasha Fierce World Tour wraps up later this.

The star, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, says she is ready to put her work on hold so she can focus on her private life.

“My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off. I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. I’m in a very good place….”

Less than a week after R&B singing stars Cassie and Rihanna were both publicly shamed when nude photos hit the Net, a VH1 reality hunny has joined the list of urban entertainment notables outed after the arrival of a new sex tape.

Hoopz — perhaps best known for winning Flavor of Love 1 and Season One of I Love Money — has been caught with her pants down — literally — in a new sex tape trailer that arrived online late Sunday.

A “devastated” Rihanna has high-tailed it to Hawaii in the aftermath of the “Please Don’t Stop The Nude Pics” scandal of 2009.

Seven photos allegedly showing the singer in the nude were leaked online late Friday, and friends say the young Grammy winner is red-faced with shame over the fiasco.

“She is freaking out. She was on the road to recovery after a terrible few months,” a friend of the 21-year-old “Umbrella” hitmaker blabbed to Britain’s News of the World over the weekend. “She has no idea how these pictures have been leaked but she’s determined to find out.”
