Nas Ordered To Pay Kelis $44,000 A Month In Support
A judge has ordered Nas to pay his estranged wife nearly $44,000 in monthly support for the near future, The Associated Press reported on Thursday. The move comes one day after R&B singer Kelis gave birth to the divorcing couple’s baby boy, Knight Jones.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Louis Meisinger issued the order during a Thursday afternoon hearing.
In April, Kelis, whose full name is Kelis Rogers, filed for divorce from the rapper after four years of marriage. The two have spent the past several months arguing over support payments.
Flo Rida & Kelly Rowland To Perform @ Miss Universe Pageant 2009
Flo Rida and Kelly Rowland will perform at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant next month.
Flo is set to take the stage for a two-part medley of “Right Round” and “Jump” during the pageant’s swimsuit competition. While Kelly will join Britain’s David Guetta for a performance of their UK chart-topping ballad “When Love Takes Over” during the evening gown portion of competition.
The Miss Universe 2009 Pageant airs August 23 at 9PM on NBC.
Drunken Nas Turned Away From Hospital As Kelis Gives Birth
Nas was banned from witnessing the birth of his baby boy because he was too drunk, according to a report from TMZ.com.
The hip-hop star had been performing in New York earlier in the night, where he announced to fans in the crowd that he was drunk on champagne, according to the gossip site. Nas later turned up at the bedside of his estranged wife — R&B singer Kelis –but staff turned him away, reportedly because he was under the influence of alcohol. Read the rest of this entry »

In Today’s Edition of “Girl, No!,” Solange Knowles says “So Long” to great lengths. The “I Decided” singer has been spotted sporting a new edgier ‘do. The 23-year-old younger sister of R&B songstress Beyonce just shaved her head nearly bald!
Solange is not the only singer who is saying buh-bye to lengthy locks. Rihanna has rocking a semi-shaved head Mohawk-style, while Cassie shaved the right half of her head and left the other half long.

In the past, Karrine Steffans — The Human Semen Recepticle Formerly Known As “Superhead” — has been vocal about her bias against “Black Media.” With that in mind, The New York Times Best-Selling author has hit the promo track for her third book, The Vixen Manual, by catering to only “mainstream” media outlets.
Unfortunately for the “married mama of two,” the hosts of Sacramento’s CW Morning Show weren’t prepared to to give Ms. Steffans the kind of royal asslicking she’s grown accustomed to on other networks when she appeared on the show earlier this week.
