The long-standing feud between rapper 50 Cent and the once head honcho of The Inc, Irv Gotti, almost came to blows-again- at a Grammy Viewing Party hosted by Universal Music chairman Doug Morris’ Grammy viewing party at the Palm restaurant in L.A., across the street from the Staples Center on Sunday night.

“It was like the Cold War,” says a sntiching source. 50 Cent won the stare-down.

Irv paid quick respects to Morris and went on his way.

The Inc inked a distribution through Universial, the same label responsible for distribution for G-Unit Records.

“Irv started bad-mouthing 50 Cent, saying he was going to outsell him and that 50 was nothing. Irv even went so far as to say he was going to be the next president of Universal. It all got back to 50 - and other executives at Universal - and no one is happy with him right now. Especially 50,” an insider says.

Jerry Lefcourt, a rep for I.G, say otherwise:

“He has never said anything about 50 - it’s just somebody bringing up old stuff.”
