50 Cent announced on Friday that he will not release his highly anticipated third LP, entitled Curtis, on June 26th, as originally planned. Curtis is now slated to hit stores on September 4th.

“I’m an international artist,” 50 Cent said in a statement. “My fans worldwide deserve to receive my album at the same time as my fans here in the US. Taking that into consideration moving the album to September was a necessary course of action.”
