The question is dead simple: "Is Castro brilliant?". As a strategist, leader and political operator, sure the hell he is! Is he morally correct, no, not correct at all. Castro has managed to hold against the US for decades, convincing most of his people that he is right... sure, we know he is not, but thats the power of a leader: convincing and guiding a team to a goal... the guy has achieved that. You should criticize Bush more or even shoot the poor bastard as he single handed managed to ruin the global economy, let alone start all the global backlash against the US. The same thoughts for Castro go for Hitler: one of the most brilliant strategist of our times, and one of the strongest political leaders ever. Was his goal correct... hell no! Even a child can see that, but with his charm and leadership, he managed various countries to believe otherwise. Lets be clear on the questions and the expected answers people!
