Acid-tongued rapper Beanie Sigel is recovering after he was involved in a serious car accident in Maryland on Saturday.

The former Jay-Z-comrade-turned-nemesis was a passenger in a vehicle which collided with a tractor trailer, according to a rep for the State Property star.

The Philly native is said to have suffered injuries to his face, arms, and legs in the crash.

“Sigel was apparently leaving a studio in B-more (Baltimore, Maryland) when a tractor trailer side swiped the vehicle he was travelling in. The car was totaled and Beans sustained injuries to his face, arms and legs. It is not known if anyone else was harmed.”

In recent months, Beans has complained of feeling abandoned by his Brooklyn counterpart and recently released the track “Average Cat” to address the issue.

“Beanie Sigel, at the time, and you can look it up if you’d like, was driving two Bentleys,” Jay said in an interview responding to the diss. “With his momma in the sticks and selling 800,000 records. I don’t know. What more can you do for somebody at that point? At some point, you have to look in the mirror and look at yourself.”
