When they say of All-time they are talking about the black or minority community. BET is Black Entertainment and it may not even be popular entertainment because it is so genre specific: like Hot 100(popular and all inclussive) vs R&B (Black Music) vs Rock. Now I know dance and I love it and this list was made at face value and visibility of artist. Gene Kelly Cid Charisse (she was amazing she was DANCE!). Fred Astaire and Paula Abdul to name a few would fit the popular list (IMO). Gene Kelly was nice as all get out but wont appear on this list, although he is truly one of the best! Michael Peterson nor Juditth Jamison will appear on this list either and they can really do it. But James brown is not a better dancer than MC Hammer and MJ…not by a long shot. RIP James. Tap is only one style of dance but sombody like MJ could tap a little, could do Jazz, contemporary, hip hop, pop etc… so someone who encompases many would be at the top. And the same goes for his sister although shes never done it in a video she can tap and she like her brother entertains many styles. I do think Paula should have been on the list, (Top 5).
