Beyonce Refuses To Autograph British Artist’s 80 Hour Portrait Of Debut Album Cover

Beyoncé has lost a fan in British artist Paul Stillwell. The First Lady of Def Jam’s President refused to sign a watercolor likeness from the album cover of her 2003 Platinum-selling solo album “Dangerously In Love (Photographed Above).”

Paul started painting one year ago to cope with the death of his mother. A big Bey fan, Paul spent eighty hours creating a copy of her “Dangerously in Love” album cover, and he traveled across the UK to have Bey stamp her “John Hancock” on it.

“I traveled 100 miles to London and waited outside her hotel for five hours. … When she came out I showed her my painting and said, ‘Beyoncé, will you sign my painting?’ She said, ‘No, sorry,’ and walked away. … I was devastated, as the painting took me over 80 hours to paint and I had put my whole heart and soul into it. I was shocked that she wouldn’t take two seconds of her time to sign her name on it.”

Beyonce’s rep had no comment.

This is the second time this week the Houston-bred singer has come under fire for diva-licious behavior. Fans in Dublin, Ireland recently complained that Beyonce refused to allow a group of children to hug her, touch her, or bring bags into a recent photocall there.
