Carmelo Anthony and his fiancee LaLa welcomed their first child on Wednesday. A son. His name is Kiyan/Kyan (”Ki-ann”) and his stats are five pounds, nine ounces, eighteen and half inches long. The labor was induced, and both Mom and baby boy are doing fine.

No, he did not get engaged because she was pregnant. That is an awful reason. They’ve been engaged since December 2004. They might rush the wedding now though since they have a son. Maybe. Maybe not.
