Robin Thicke could be the first non-Black to take home a BET Award at tonight’s live ceremony.

Amidst rumors of Ciara’s steamy relationship with baby-mama drama sufferer 50 Cent, the pair are reportedly slated to announce their romance at tonight’s BET Awards live from Los Angeles.

“They’ll be arriving together, and sitting together, and we expect they’ll leave together also,” says a tattle.

Beyonce has been added to list of performers at the 2007 BET Awards. Fellow former Child of Destiny Kelly Rowland is also slated to perform. Mo’Nique will host the June 26th live ceremony that will also featured performances by 50 Cent, T.I, Ne-Yo and Ciara.

Blue-eyed soul crooner Robin Thicke explained the significance behind his track “Cocaine” during the Wednesday afternoon press conference and nomination announcement for the 2007 BET Awards.

“‘Cocaine’ is about a feeling, it’s about a time, a scene, about the appeal of when people you think are cool are doing something. It’s about what you think is cool and do you want to feel left out of something, do you want to be the only one that’s not doing it, peer pressure situations,” Thicke told reporters. “When I wrote that song… I had some old friends that were doing it, I had made some new friends that were doing it, and I was traveling from New York to L.A., and it seemed like it was everywhere and I felt like nobody was talking about it. Everyone was acting like it’s done and it doesn’t exist and yet it was in every bathroom at every party, it was all over the place. And how cool is that? I believe in drugs as a form of celebration.”

BET announced the nominees for the 2007 BET Awards. Beyonce is leading the pack with six nods. The 2007 BET Awards will air live from Los Angeles on June 26th.
