Hip-hop star Lil Mama has issued a statement apologizing for her tomfoolish behavior at last night’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
The New York native and America’s Next Dance Crew judge raised eyebrows after she went full retard (no offense), storming on-stage and elbowing her way into the mix as Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed “Empire State of Mind.”

Jay-Z refused to put down his mic and tapped the rapper on her leg to usher her off the stage, before telling her, “You T-Paining right now!”
Kanye West debuted his new single “Love Lockdown” in his closing performance at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7.
The track will be featured on the rapper’s forthcoming fourth studio album, tenatively titled Good Ass Job.
