On Tuesday, The TODAY Show’s Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford got in depth with 50 Cent and financial guru Robert Greene about their new book, The 50th Law.
Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent has teamed up with business guru Robert Greene to write a book on how to become rich.

The book, entitled The 50th Law, promises to reveal “how the power game of success can be played to your advantage.”
The 50th Law will published this fall and features chapters like “Turn Shit Into Sugar-Opportunism” and “Hood Economics.”
“Those who dismiss 50 Cent as a gangster should rethink, his continued presence in the Forbes rich list and entrepreneurial nous show there is a lot more to the man than his music,” says publisher Andrew Franklin.
In an interview with MTV News Wednesday, The Game revealed he got a personal phone call from Michael Jackson in 2005, during which the King of Pop offered to help end the rapper’s beef with friend turned rival 50 Cent. Read the rest of this entry »
No one hates quite like 50 Cent. In a new interview with XXL, the always-opinionated hip-hop heavyweight sounded off on comparisons between himself and Canadian newcomer Drake.
“I didn’t hear that, I don’t think you can accomplish that right now…Not without finance. I hear his record on the radio. He got a good buzz, I hear him. Shit, it wasn’t possible for my music to be on the radio when I was coming. You know mine’s was completely organic. Ain’t nothing there just because, enough for it to be playing every hour on the hour. That song is being worked like he’s on a label. You know I’m sure Sylvia Rhone or Universal — they’re spending money to get the record played. They got the public feeling like its just happening. He might not be signed yet, but they may work it to get him to sign…”

50 Cent is launching his own fragrance as part of an exclusive deal with Macy’s.
Power By 50 Cent will be released via a partnership with fragrance firm Lighthouse Beauty and is scheduled to arrive on Macy’s store shelves later this year.

50 Cent and Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker have signed up to star in a new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic 19th century novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The pair will play the lead roles in the classic tale about a doctor who invents a potion that can unleash his violent alter ego.
“The combination of such formidable talent in front of and behind the camera will turn this wonderful gothic story into a modern classic for a whole new generation,” executive producer Luc Roeg told Variety on Thursday.
