A new date has been set for America’s Next Top Model’s New York City casting after a stampede erupted at last month’s casting call, leaving six people injured and three people under arrest.

The new open casting session will take place on Saturday, April 11

The casting is for women ranging in age from 18 to 27, with various backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. The new NYC casting location–along with some new rules– will be revealed later this week at www.cwtv.com.

Model hopefuls for the upcoming season of Tyra Banks’ modeling series were waiting to try out when chaos broke out on the streets outside the Park Central New York Hotel in Manhattan.

Tyra Banks has just announced that the next edition of America’s Next Top Model will only feature contestants under 5′7.”

The CW is currently casting for “females, ages 18 to 27 with a height requirement of 5’7” and under.”
