Aretha Franklin could lose her home to the Tax Man. The Queen of Soul says an attorney’s mistake caused her $700,000 1927 brick-mansion in Detroit to slip into foreclosure over $445 in 2005 taxes and late fees. Arethan now owes $19,192 in back taxes on the property between 2005-2007. The legendary songstress also owes $18,746 in back taxes and fees for the 2006 and 2007 tax years, but foreclosure proceedings on those debts wouldn’t begin until next year.
“As a manager I am not taking something this ridiculous to Beyonce. Beyonce referred to Tina Turner as a ‘queen. Not queen of gospel, queen of soul, queen of blues, Queen of England. I consider my wife a queen and sometimes call her that. Does Aretha have a problem with that?”

Sixty-five year old Aretha Franklin is reportedly set to wed for the third time – this time to long-time boyfriend Willie Wilkerson Jr. The pair has been spotted attending wedding dress fittings in New York. The ceremony is reportedly scheduled for June.
