The mile high performance on one Delta flight carried a live twist last week when five-time Grammy Wward nominee B.o.B. hit the PA system and rapped his hit single “Airplanes” for a caravan of his fellow passengers on a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Delta, the official air travel sponsor of the 2011 Grammy Awards, is flying all of this year’s nominees to the City of Angels in the days leading up to this weekend’s big show.

“He got a kick out of it,” Delta’s Heather Faulkner told AJC.com Monday. “He’s near and dear to our hearts because he’s an Atlanta guy, and we’re an Atlanta-based airline.”
