MTV just announced that R&B megastar Beyonce has been tapped to perform her current charttoping single, “Sweet Dreams,” at the ceremony in New York Sept. 13.
Beyonce is nominated for nine trophies at this year’s VMAs.
The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by Russell Brand, will air live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 9PM ET.
Singing superstar Beyonce will be honored with the coveted “Woman Of The Year” title during Billboard Magazine’s annual Women In Music event in New York City on Oct. 2.

“He’ll also be revealing his rapping secrets.”
