Beyonce is seeking a court ban to prevent street vendors from selling unofficial concert merchandise outside New York’s Madison Square Garden when she performs at the venue on Sunday and Monday night.
The platinum-selling singer has filed a federal lawsuit in the Big Apple against a group she believes is behind the illegal sales of knock-off CDs, posters, and other items in “the vicinity” of venues on her worldwide I Am… Tour.
Beyonce is asking a federal judge to prevent the group from selling their fake goods near The Garden next week.
Beyonce managed to get George Michael — star of the ’80s pop band Wham! — onstage for a duet of her hit “If I Were a Boy” during a show at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night.

Word on The Snitch Circuit claims Mathew Knowles is so angry that the “Dilemma” singer dropped him as her manager earlier this year, that he has forbidden his little moneymaker daughter Beyonce from speaking to Kelly.
We hear the nearly lifelong pals, now 27, have ended their friendship.
“Matthew has been absolutely livid over this and has advised Beyonce not to let Kelly pull on her coat tails anymore. Matthew feels Michelle and Kelly should be lucky they have a career at all and often tie themselves in with Beyonce to gain more sales. This was fine when Kelly was apart of MWE but now she isn’t they don’t want them near each other,” according to the loose-lipped mole.
“Beyonce has taken her father’s advice. You will not see Beyonce and Kelly together unless they reform as Destiny’s Child or for birthdays. Beyonce and Kelly are no longer friends. Any future photos will be staged to keep the DC brand alive.”
The source adds, “Kelly is extremely upset about this as Beyonce does not answer any of her calls and when she does the conversation is short and strained. She cannot understand how Beyonce can be so cold after all the years they have worked together.”
“I’m very lucky to have worked young,” she says. “I set myself up so now I can have whatever time I need to focus on myself and my life. When I have a child, I’ll be able to decide, OK, I’m going to do a movie for three months and they can come with me. It’s a really wonderful place to be.”

Beyonce is planning to take a two-year break from her platinum-selling recording career once her I Am…Sasha Fierce World Tour wraps up later this.
The star, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, says she is ready to put her work on hold so she can focus on her private life.
“My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off. I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. I’m in a very good place….”
