The Washington Post revealed this week that hip-hop boss Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce visited The White House for “a quick, unscheduled visit with President Obama” while in town for a show at the Verizon Center on Wednesday. Now RapRadar.com has obtained flicks of a beaming Hov and Beyonce — joined by Tina Knowles and Trey Songz — in a White House meeting room. The whole setup reminds some people of this 2005 XXL cover.
In February, Jay-Z told the BBC’s Jonathan Ross that he’d be meaning to make a visit to his old budding Michelle and Barry.
“I’ve been invited to the White House a couple of times,” he said. “Hopefully we’ll keep him in for eight years, so I’ll have time to get there.”
Jay-Z and Diddy didn’t enjoy mascot Benny The Bull’s rendition of Beyonce’s Grammy-winning hit “Single Ladies” at the 2010 NBA All-Star Game last week.
Does Beyonce have a new baby brother? The Los Angeles woman who filed a paternity suit against music mogul Mathew Knowles — father of R&B star Beyonce — has given birth to a baby boy, according to reports. In October, Alexsandra Wright filed court papers naming Knowles as the father of the child she claims was conceived during an 18-month fling.
Mathew denies that he fathered the child. According to TMZ.com, Wright gave birth to a son, named Nixon, last Thursday, and has scheduled a further court date for next week. Beyonce’s mother, stylist Tina Knowles, filed for divorce from Mathew in November — less than a month after news of the paternity suit broke. The pair had been married for more than 30 years.
Beyonce, who is currently in Brazil for her “I Am…” World Tour, joined fellow Grammy-winning Alicia Keys in a Rio de Janeiro slum on Tuesday, where the songbirds shot the music video for A. Key’s new single “Put It In A Love Song.”
The video is expected to premiere later this month.
“It’s nice that we just celebrate each others careers, that’s what the song is about, coming together to empower each other,” Alicia said of the song and Beyonce. “This song was meant for us at this time. We’ve become really good friends.”
Will someone puhleeze get Miss. Sasha Fierce some stilettos with traction? Singing star Beyonce took a tumble during the Florianopolis Music Festival in Brazil this week. This isn’t the first embarrassing public slip for the multiplatium-selling songstress. Beyonce, as you may recall, took a tumble head first down a flight of stairs during a concert a few years back.
To her credit, no one makes waxing the floor with your butt look quite as glorious as Madame Knowles!

The Grammy-winning diva will be singing and dancing under the direction of Oscar-nominated cinematographer Wally Pfister in the spot — which reportedl cost the company between $2.5 – 2.8 million.
Beyonce was the big winner at Sunday’s 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The “Sasha Fierce” star collected six awards — including Song of the Year for her anthem “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) — at tonight’s ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Beyonce’s six wins are the most by a female in one night in the Grammys’ 52 year history.
“Wow, thank you so much. This has been such an amazing night for me… I’d love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband. I love you.”
