Bobby Brown stunned fans by proposing to his manager girlfriend Alicia Etheridge during a gig in Florida on Friday.
The “My Prerogative” star was performing at the state’s annual Funk Fest event when he pulled Etheridge and the couple’s son Cassius on to the stage, got down on one knee, and presented her with an engagement ring.

Whitney Houston says ex-husband Bobby Brown was emotionally abusive during their 14 year marriage and at one point slapped and spit on her.
On Monday, Whitney — who is staging a career comeback with the release of her album in 7 years, I Look To You – told Oprah that the crooner wasn’t physically abusive but that “he slapped me once but he got hit on the head three times by me.”

The “Don’t Be Cruel” star has four other children from previous relationships, including 22-year-old Landon (an aspiring performer who appeared on MTV’s Rock the Cradle) with Melika Williams, 19-year-old LaPrincia and 17-year-old Bobby Brown Jr. with Kim Ward, and 16-year-old Bobbi Kristina from his marriage to pop diva Whitney Houston.
