Here’s a little tidbit to make you feel anicient: Bow Wow’s got a baby!

The baby-faced hip-hopster – real name Shad Moss – has spilled the beans about the recent arrival of his baby daughter, Shai, in a gushing letter penned for his fans. The onetime child rap prodigy says he chose to keep the truth about the true parentage of his daughter with video model ex-girlfriend Joie Chavis private because he was nervous about how his fanbase (What’s left of it anyway…) would react to the news.

You know, since its 1965 and all.

Shai was born last month and has made her dad realize his role in life. He’s even overcome the depression and suicidal thoughts that have plagued him.

“Let me start off by saying i love my fans. With out yall (you all) i wudda (would have) been (sic) left the game. For the past 3 years i (have) been batteling (sic) life. Even thought about taking my own. I felt like as a kid i did everything and saw everything too fast which spoiled my adult years. I felt as if i had no purpose to live… until god gave me the illest gift of my life,” the 24-year-old rapper added.

“No lambo, no blk card nuffn ammounts to my lil girl. I waited so long to tell yall the truth because i was nervous on how yall would look at me. Yall know everyone makes a big deal out of everything i do. I wanted to be 1st n let yall know the real. Yes! I change diapers. Aint as bad as i thought hahaha. I want her to live with me so bad. Jus us 2. Thats my dream man but fellas yall know how it go. Baby gotta stay with they momma and all dat bull. I hate that! So i have to fly 5 hrs away to see her.”

Congrats…We can’t wait to see what Lil Bow Wow looks like! Bow Wow, 24, started out as a child rapper working under mentors Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri. He broke into movies as a teen and most recently appeared in the Tyler Perry family comedy Madea’s Big Happy Family.

Bow Wow will don the official Foot Locker uniform and work behind the register at the chain’s flagship New York store this week.

The entertainer will work a shift at the Foot Locker store at 120 W. 34th St. in the Big Apple Monday as he promotes his new movie Lottery Ticket, in which the “My Baby” rapper plays a Foot Locker employee who hits the lottery.

“The film features a young man who has to survive a three-day weekend after his opportunistic neighbors find out he’s holding a winning lottery ticket worth $350 million,” the studio said in a synopsis.

Lottery Ticket — which also features Ice Cube, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Loretta Devine, Terry Crews, Mike Epps and T-Pain — opens in theaters Aug. 20.

When Snitching About Your Ho Shit Goes Terribly Wrong: The Kat Stacks Edition.

Hip-hop semen receptacle Kat Stacks — the Miami exotic dancer whose catbag never met a rapper, athlete, or pop singing hasbeen it didn’t like — was slapped into submission and knocked to the ground by two men in an Atlanta restaurant on Thursday night.

“Stop, man,” she screamed, as the burly men in fitted caps ordered her to apologize to “Fab” and “Bow Wow” and hurled threats at the banged-up big mouth.

In typical Kat fashion, the modern-day Karrine Steffans went on a Twitter rampage shortly after the incident. Stacks insists the assailants were croonies of “Throw It In The Bag” star Fabolous, sent to shut her up after she accused the rapper of bedding her in a New York City hotel only to diss her in a recent interview with London DJ Tim Westwood.

Kat’s threatening any parties featured in the grainy video footage of the attack with a lawsuit for assault:

“yes its true @myfabolouslife sent people today to smack me up at the bar & they stole my phone & recorded it. i dare yall to blast it…i was chilling at the bar in pearl & they ran up recording & shit & hit me on the side of my face & i fell out the chair….then he kept talking about this is for @myfbolouslife & @bowwow … i guess he sticks eggs up @Bowwow ass too,” Kat Tweeted late Thursday.

(FYI: Unless his life is in danger, it’s never okay for a man to assault a woman…even one with a laugh as annoying as Kat Stacks’.)

Bow Wow has officially become the first hip-hop artist in history to get a lecture from Mommy on Twitter!

The star recently got into a spat with his mother, Teresa Caldwell, after Caldwell refused to delete her inspirational Tweets, per her son’s instructions.

Cash Money’s own Bow Weezy celebrated New Year’s Eve with a few bottle of bubbly at Miami hotspot Fontainebleu and then posted few drunk Tweets from behind the wheel.

“Face numb im whippin the lambo [Lamborghini]. Tipsy as f*k. Just left [the club] @livmiami,” he wrote.

“Im f**ked up!!! Ohhhh damn. Y i drive the lambo. Chris [Brown] might have to drive after next spot,” Bow Wow later added.

[We should have known Beat Down Brown had something to do with this....]

After sobering up, Bow Wow deleted the the incriminating comments and apologized to his followers for the remarks:

“Apologize for that tweet,” he said. “It was stupid and immature. not a way i want to kick my #2010 year off. i got too much good stuff lined up. my bad.”

Bow Wow has announced that he plans to retire from the recording industry in a bid to concentrate on his burgeoning career in acting.

“I think I have a better chance at getting an Oscar before a Grammy. The music industry is so fickle, there’s so many politics. I think a lot of people don’t pay attention to the credits or the artistry no more,” the hip hop star said in an interview with the Associated Press. “I think there’s so much concern about what’s going on right now instead of the actual artistry. But that’s how the record business is. But for acting, I got that covered.”

The rapper will reprise his role on HBO’s Entourage this summer. He will also appear in the Hurricane Katrina-inspired basketball drama, Hurricane Season, with Forest Whitaker, Taraji P. Henson, and Lil Wayne, later this year.
