In Sports News, there are murmurs in The Basketball World this morning that Denver Nuggets power-forward Carmelo Anthony will be moving over to the New York Knicks as part of three-way deal between Minnesota and Denver.

This means Brooklyn-born, Baltimore-raised Carmelo and his new wife — former MTV VJ Lala Vasquez — will be moving back to the hometown, the pro baller’s desired destination. The reported deal also pairs Anthony alongside current Knicks star Amare Stoudemire.

Former MTV veejay LaLa Vazquez and NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony — of the Denver Nuggets — tied the knot in New York City on Saturday.

The bride wore a Vera Wang wedding gown gifted to her by pal Kim Kardashian as she exchanged vows with Anthony in a ceremony performed by Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, PEOPLE dished. Among the 300 invited guests were Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Lakers hoopster Lamar Odom, the Miami Heat’s newest star LeBron James, director Spike Lee, hip-hop star Ludacris, and singer Kelly Rowland.

The happy couple — who enjoyed a five year engagement — are parents to a three-year-old son named Kiyan. He served as ring bearer.

Lala and ‘Melo will chronicle the weeks leading up to their nups in a untitled VH1 reality series premiering later this summer.

Former MTV VJ LaLa Vazquez has dropped 15 lbs. ahead of her July wedding to NBA hoopster Carmelo Anthony.

This just in: Denver Nuggets power forward has been selected as one of a handful of celebrity judges tapped for this weekend’s 59th Annual Miss USA Pageant in Las Vegas. The 2010 pageant will air on NBC — live from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Hollywood — at @ 8 PM May 16.

The Celebreality Network behnd Brandy & Ray J and What Chilli Wants has inked Denver Nuggets starring forward Carmelo Anthony and his longtime fiancee, former MTV veejay LaLa Vasquez, to a new docu-series about their forthcoming July 2010 wedding and all of the planning that will go into getting ready for the big day.

The still-untitled five-part, half-hour series will premiere on Monday, September 13 before wrapping up with a 90-minute wedding finale airing in October.

The gated property is approximately 6,500 square feet and has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms — plenty of room for the Denver Nuggets star and his fiancee of nearly six years. Lala is a familiar face to any frequent viewers of the celebrity love reunion shows on VH1; she has hosted reunion shows for Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and For the Love of Ray J.

The couple — who became engaged on Christmas Day 2004 — will wed in New York City this July. They have a son, 3-year-old Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.

The couple have a 3-year-old son together.
