Cedric the Entertainer has partnered with TV Land to star in a comedy spinoff of the network’s hit show Hot in Cleveland, a show which features Hollywood’s most beloved octogenarian, Betty White.
ABC has ordered a comedy pilot from Cedric the Entertainer, the network revealed this week. The comic is set to star as a retired pro athlete reconnecting with his son and granddaughter in a series that could possibly premiere later this year.
Cedric The Entertainer is rumored to be joining the upcoming Broadway revival of the 1976 play American Buffalo.
According to the New York Post, the comedian may sign on as one of four men conspiring to steal a coin collection from a wealthy man.
