The rumors are true: Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver — and PETA’s pet-lovin’ nudest nude centerfold — Chad Ochocinco has confirmed that he is engaged to wed Evelyn Lozada, Miami boutique owner and one of the stars of the VH1 docu-drama Basketball Wives.
Chad Ochocinco, Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver (and the soon-to-be hubby of Basketball Wife Evelyn Lozada), is standing up for animal rights….by joining the brigade of stars who have stripped down to their birthday suits for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ “Ink not Mink” campaign.
“To tell you the truth, when I was younger growing up, I thought it was all fake-they didn’t really kill animals. So once I found out what really happens, I had the opportunity to do this, so I really wanted to become a part of it,” says Ochocinco, who joins Khloe Kardashian, Nia Long, and Mario as the latest celeb to appear in a PETA anti-fur campaign. “I’m an avid animal lover. I have pets of my own and I’ve had them since I was little.”

According to ESPN.com, Ochocinco’s Honey Nut Toasted Oats had a phone number on the box in which consumers could call to donate money to Feed The Children find. Instead, a costly typo sent folks to an X-rated sex line complete with “a seductive-sounding woman who makes risque suggestions and then asks for a credit card number.”

We hear the network is peeved that Chad’s Tweeting about his relationship with Evelyn while he’s still the star of his currently airing reality dating show — The Ultimate Catch. The network is upset because of the “spoiler” that Ochocinco obviously doesn’t end up with any of the ladies on the show.
