Chris Brown has reportedly received death threats since allegedly attacking Rihanna in Los Angeles earlier this month. The singer is said to be fearing for his life following the publication of a photo of a battered Rihanna.
A source tells In Touch Weekly: “Chris is scared. Not only has he probably lost his career and his girlfriend, but he’s also fearing for his security and his life. The photo was the last straw. The threats started pouring in the moment that appeared.”

Rihanna reportedly spent her 21st birthday alone, but that didn’t stop the “Umbrella” star’s allegedly abusive ex-boyfriend, R&B singer Chris Brown, from trying to woo her back.
The “Kiss Kiss” star reportedly sent the singer a diamond bracelet and necklace and an iPod Touch for the milestone b-day.
“Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday,” a NY Daily News insider revealed on Monday. “He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”
Rihanna, who turned 21 on Friday, has been photographed for the first time since allegedly being assaulted by R&B star Chris Brown.
The singer also released a statement of thanks to her fans.
“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown,” reads a statement released by the singer this afternoon. “She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

Rihanna’s camp has declined to officially comment on Chris Brown’s apology statement, but sources close to the “Umbrella” star say she is “appalled” by Chris’ half-hearted gesture.
On Sunday, the “Kiss, Kiss” crooner released a statement saying he was “sorry and saddened… over what transpired,” but did not go into detail about the alleged assault
“All of us, including Rihanna, don’t understand how he can say he’s sorry on the one hand, but still… does not admit any guilt,” Rihanna’s Barbados-based pal blabbed to the Chicago Sun-Times on Tuesday. “He should have expressed more contrition.”
Chris is due in court in Los Angeles on charges of making criminal threats against Rihanna on March 5.
