Chris Brown has unveiled the special effects-laden video for his comeback single, “I Can Transform Ya” — featuring Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz. The extravagant vid was directed by lensman Joseph Kahn, who also worked with Chris on his hit “Forever” video.

The track will be featured on Beat Down Brown’s upcoming album Graffiti, scheduled for release Dec. 15. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who also worked with Chris on his hit “Forever” video.

On Sunday, the disgraced crooner posted a link to a YouTube user-created video, set to the tune of R. Kelly’s “The Way We Used to Be,” of the exes prior to the Domestic Disturbia 2009 last Feb. 8.

The comedian and documentarian behind the critically-acclaimed side-splitter Good Hair has been dumped from a upcoming biopic based on the life of late comedy icon Richard Pryor after defending convicted dog killer Michael Vick during an appearance on The Jay Leno Show earlier this month, The National Enquirer reports. “What the hell did Michael Vick do, man? A dog, a pit bull ain’t even a real dog. A pit bull, that’s the white stuff. Dogs are white man’s best friend – dogs have never been good to black people,” Chris quipped

Chris Brown just posted some exclusive pictures from the set of his new music video for “I Can Transform Ya,” via his Mechanical Dummy Blog. In the pictures, Chris is seen with producer Swizz Beatz, who mixed the track, as well as rapper Lil Wayne, who is featured spitting a few bars.
The “Run It” singer – who pleaded guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year – has announced plans to perform at a series of small venues in a return to music. “BOUT TO START A SMALL TOUR SOON.. 15 TO 20 DATES.. MY FAN APPRECIATION TOUR. just for yall.nothin bigger than 4,ooo seaters (sic),” the 20-year-old musician wrote on his Twitter webpage.
Chris will headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ‘09 Concert alongside Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Mario, Day26 and Ginuwine on Oct. 27.
It’s a bad day for Good Hair. Chris Rock’s groundbreaking documentary on the history of the African-American hair care industry and the lengths some people of color go to change the texture of their hair is at the center of a $5 million lawsuit from a woman who alleges the funnyman ripped the idea off from her.
According to the lawsuit filed by Regina Kimbell in United States District Court, Central District of California, Kimbell claims Rock’s new film is very similar to her own film, My Nappy Roots: A Journey Through Black Hair-itage. Kimbell has filed a suit at Los Angeles’ District Court claiming the inspiration behind Rock’s Good Hair film came from a documentary she made in 2005, which she showed the comic on the set of his now-defunct TV series Everybody Hates Chris in 2007.
Kimbell is suing Rock for copyright infringement, unfair competition and fraud, and deceit.
Chris Brown will return to the stage next month in his first major concert since assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna last February.
The disgraced R&B star will headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ’09 concert on October 27, 2009, at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the New York City-based station announced Wednesday. The concert will feature additional performances by Fabulous, Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Mario, Day26 and Ginuwine.
Chris is also working on his third new album, Graffiti, expected in stores later this year.
