A Twittering Chris Brown ditched the fluorescent safety vest in favor of nipples as he continued to perform community labor in his home state of Virginia, a punishment for pleading guilty to assaulting pop star ex Rihanna earlier this year.
Chris Brown’s court-ordered 180 days of community labor began today, and the former heartthrob was photographed cleaning up a horse stable belonging to local police earlier this afternoon. The “Forever” hitmaker wore a safety vest with reflective yellow stripes as he was monitored by authorities.

“I commend Oprah on being like, ‘This (abuse) is a problem’, but it was a slap in my face. I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. Chris Brown sat down for his first interview since the now-infamous fight he had with Rihanna nearly six months ago.
“I was distraught,” he says of how he felt immediately following the assault. “I went to my mom on the same night and told [her] what happened and broke down.”
Chris claims her grew up witnessing his stepfather beat his mother Joyce, and credits the violence he witnessed with his own brush with abuse.
“I feel like he enjoyed it. He was an abuser. It was continuous.”

Just a day after Chris Brown sat down for a tell-all interview with CNN’s Larry King Live. The disgraced R&B crooner’s mother/manager, Joyce Hawkins, is speaking out on the subject.
“I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for your continued support. I’m sorry I wasn’t allowed to speak to anyone as this case was on going. I can now say this has been the most painful moment in my entire life, but knowing that you were still standing by Chris side in his time of need made this a little easier for us,” Hawkins wrote in a blog Thursday. “Because of all your prayers God brought him through. I just want to say God has never failed me and never will. All moms and dads please stand by your children and pray for their goodness each and everyday. Chris and I love you so much, as the tears fall from my eyes and the pain lingers in my heart I still say thank you God, thank you thank you almighty God. If any of you wonder why I continue to speak of God it’s because I know no other way. I made a promise to him I would never be ashamed of him no matter where I am or who I talk to. You see this whole thing isn’t about Chris it’s about God. He wants to show all of you the goodness of him through Chris. Chris will be addressing all of his fans very soon. We love you so much and so does God.”

In a “no-holds barred” interview that will air next week, the R&B crooner spoke to the talk show host at CNN’s studios in Los Angeles. Brown was accompanied by his mother Joyce Hawkins and his attorney Mark Geragos.
In June, the singer was found guilty of brutally attacking Rihanna after a furious fight after a pre-Grammy party. Brown was accused of viciously punching, biting, and threatening to kill Rihanna. Earlier this week, the “Forever” hitmaker was sentenced to five years probation and six months hard community labor for the assault.

Chris Brown has been officially sentenced for the beating of his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, during a Grammy night brawl in Los Angeles last February.
On Tuesday, Brown pled guilty to felony assault for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He was formally sentenced to five years probation and 180 days of community labor, which he’ll complete in Virginia. The crooner was also ordered to stay away from Rihanna for the next five years.
On Thursday, Wrigley’s Gum officially severed ties with former celebrity spokesman Chris Brown. The gum manufacturer formally terminated their commercial deal with the R&B star following his guilty plea on charges of assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna last winter.
Chris Brown and his hit song “Forever” had been a part of Wrigley’s Doublemint Gum advertising campaign. His ads for the brand were temporarily pulled from the air after Brown was charged with assaulting the pop star last Friday.
