Newlywed Christina Milian has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with husband The-Dream.
The singer eloped with musician-producer The-Dream – who handled most of the production duties on Mariah Carey’s latest album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, in Las Vegas last month.
“My husband and I are expecting. We’re about four and a half months along, about 19 weeks. We’re really excited,” Christina told PEOPLE at the MGM Grand on Friday night.
The-Dream already has three children with former wife Nivea.
Hip-hop producer The-Dream and R&B singer Christina Milian have eloped, TMZ.com reported on Tuesday.
Less than two months after the 27-year-old “Dip It Low” star confirmed her engagement to the father of three, the two wed as the clock struck midnight Friday morning at Las Vegas’ Little White Wedding Chapel — the same spot where Britney Spears married childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander in 2004.
Christina — who previously dated hip-hop producer Dre and Mr. Mariah Nick Cannon — is reportedly pregnant with the couple’s first child together. The-Dream was previously wed to R&B singer Nivea.
