Christina Milian is headed back into the studio to put down tracks on her new album, Elope. In a recent update to her Twitter account, the “Dip It Low” singer revealed that she plans to get back to work as early as July.
“I am gonna hit the studio next month and get started on finishing the album. Then it can come out!” Milan Tweeted over the weekend.
It’s been a busy year for Milian, who married Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/producer The-Dream last September and gave birth to the couple’s first daughter together, Violet Madison Nash, in February.
Elope will be Christina’s first release since the 2006 LP the Best of Christina Milian.

The-Dream and Christina Milian have confirmed that they are expecting their first daughter early next year.
The hip-hop producer and his singing wife — who announced the pregnancy in October — celebrated the birth with a baby in West Hollywood last Saturday. Guests were treated to a day of manicures, pedicures, and makeovers provided by Valerie Beverly Hills. Philippe West Hollywood and Famous Cupcakes catered the event, serving guests with bite-sized cupcakes and Asian-inspired flair.
