In his first major performance since pleading guilty to once count of felony assault against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in June, Chris followed openers The-Dream, Fabolous, Day26, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson and Mario with a set including his new single, “I Can Transform Ya,” as well as “Wall To Wall,” “Gimme That” and “With You” before closing with “Forever.”

On Friday, Royal Caribbean announced that pop princess Rihanna will be the first entertainer to perform aboard Oasis of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, at its unveiling in Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 19.

Rihanna’s fourth studio album, Rated R, is scheduled for release on Nov. 23.

The “Sasha Fierce” star been scheduled to perform at a Kuala Lumpur stadium on October 25, but the show “has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly”, Malaysian entertainment company Marctensia said in a statement Monday.

The “Run It” singer – who pleaded guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year – has announced plans to perform at a series of small venues in a return to music.

Chris will headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ‘09 Concert alongside Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Mario, Day26 and Ginuwine on Oct. 27.

Mariah Carey belted out a string of singles, including “Obsessed,” “Make It Happen,” and her rendition of Foreigner’s 1984 ballad “I Want To Know What Love Is,” during a promotional appearance on The TODAY Show Friday.

Mimi’s 12th studio album, Memoir Of An Imperfect Angel, is in stores today.

“Live Nation announced today that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga ‘Fame Kills’ tour has been canceled,” promoters said in a statement issued this evening.

The disgraced R&B star will headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ’09 concert on October 27, 2009, at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the New York City-based station announced Wednesday. The concert will feature additional performances by Fabulous, Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Mario, Day26 and Ginuwine.

Chris is also working on his third new album, Graffiti, expected in stores later this year.

Yeezy and Gaga are teaming for a 34 citiy tour of North America, kicking off in Phoenix on Nov. 10 and running through Jan. 24 in Dallas. Tickets go on sale to the general public in select markets this Friday, Sept. 25 at LiveNation.com.
