Jay-Z will play a special concert in Washington, D.C., on eve of President-Elect Barack Obama’s inauguration.
The “In Concert On The Eve of Change” Concert, billed as an “intimate performance,” will take place at the Warner Theater and will feature Jay performing with full band.
Tickets for the performance go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

After a series of postponed dates, the R&B diva has officially pulled the plug on what’s left of her trouble-prone venture across the U.S.
The seven dates affected are in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Greensboro, Fort Lauderdale, Uncasville, and Verona.
In addition, Janet will not reschedule the concert dates she cancelled earlier this summer due to illness. The star was forced to can several dates of the tour after a debilitating bout with vertigo.
She had intended to rearrange the shows but “conflicts in the singer’s schedule” scuppered those plans, according to a representative for Jackson.
Refunds are reportedly available at point of purchase.
And at least one Janet Stan is very torn up about the cancellation.
A publicity firm for LL Cool J confirmed Monday that the veteran rapper has dropped out as the headlining opening act for Janet Jackson’s trouble-prone Rock Witchu Tour due to unspecified scheduling conflicts.
