For the second year in a row, Diddy is helping revellers ring in the New Year safely by providing free transportation services in New York and Las Vegas.
The Bad Boy mogul will handing out thousands of subway passes and vouchers redeemable for taxi rides in the Big Apple and Sin City as part of his Safe Rides program, which he launched in 2008.
“New York stands as the world’s icon for a New Year’s Eve celebration and Las Vegas is the biggest party destination in the country,” he says. “By bringing this program to both of these great cities we will continue to show the rest of the country that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.”
Diddy’s latest protege is a lot cuter than any of the girls from Danity Kane!
Diddy gave his fans a great Christmas gift when he Tweeted about his newest exploit artist — his 3-year-old daughter Chance.
“Check out my daughter Chance Combs, the newest artist signed to Bad Boy,” the hip-hop mogul wrote, attaching a link to a video of the bright-eyed tot singing “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” When Little Chance forgets the words, she breaks into a rousing rendition of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”
“I ain’t gonna lie – if God said I could pick one person to be my father, I’d want to be Sean Combs Obama. That’s how dope he is. I hope he reads this interview and adopts me. I wouldn’t even have to be in the will. I got my own money!” Diddy on President Obama, Playboy Magazine Jan/Feb 2010
Diddy has been immortalized in wax! The hip-hop mogul beamed as a wax figure in his likeness was unveiled at New York City’s world-famous Madame Tussauds Museum on Tuesday.
Diddy is headed to the Home Shopping Network to hawk his latest scents — just in time for the holidays. The Bad Boy mogul will make two appearances on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) next week to sell his men’s fragrance collections Unforgivable and I Am King, and women’s fragrance collection Unforgivable Woman.
The specials will air Monday, Nov. 30 at 11 p.m. ET and Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 1 a.m. ET. In fact, WWD reports that HSN has already built the mogul his own special living-room-style set on its St. Petersburg, Florida studio especially for Diddy.
“With the help of HSN, I’m going to be coming to your living room for the holidays,” Diddy said in a statement Monday. “I can’t wait to show HSN’s viewers my lineup of Sean John Fragrances for men and women. It’s the perfect time to shop for the holidays.”
P. Diddy spent $3 million celebrating his 40th birthday over the weekend. The hip-hop star celebrated the day with Jay-Z, Bono, Nelly and Denzel Washington during a star-studded Garden of Eden-themed bash in The Grand Ballroom of New York’s Plaza Hotel.
Mase is free as a breeze. The rapping pastor crashed Dirty Money’s interview at Atlanta’s V103 radio station over the weekend with a pen and paperwork that would free him from his contract with Diddy — which the Bad Boy boss signed. Who ever said there was no way out of Bad Boy?
Diddy lost one of his diamond-studded rings — worth $20,000 — after it flew off his finger and into a crowd of fans during a taping of BET’s 106 & Park on Tuesday. The NY Post claims the mogul accidentally flung a diamond-studded ring into a raucous crowd as he hurled bundles of cash off a stage at CBS Studios in Midtown Manhattan yesterday afternoon. After noticing that his ring was gone, Diddy ordered his security tpsearch all 160 audience members — mostly teenagers –after filming wrapped.
The search came up empty.
“Ok diddy lost his ring . . . and now there frisking all the kids like this is rikers lite,” a user named PWillzNYC posted on Twitter later. Another Tweeter, named dbaumz, tweeted, “[W]hen it was over, diddy held us hostage lookin for his lost ring. dont like him no more!!!”
One spywitness chuckled: “He ain’t getting’ it back. Someone pocketed that, and they probably took it to the nearest jeweler.”
