DMX Going Back To Jail For One Year
It’s back to The Big House for The X Man.
DMX has had his probation revoked and is heading to prison for one year, according to a ruling issued against the cocaine-addicted rap star, real name Earl Simmons, in Maricopa County Superior Court on Thursday. He was arrested last month for violating probation after he was kicked out of a drug treatment program for failing a drug test.

Freedom has proved shortlived for beloved hip-hopster DMX (real name Earl Simmons). On Monday, the “Get At Me Dog” star turned himself in at a Los Angeles courthouse to begin serving a 90-day jail sentence stemming from a probation violation on a 2002 reckless driving conviction.

DMX Headed To “Celebrity Rehab?”
A lawyer for DMX has appealed to TV addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky to enroll the troubled rap star in the next season of the VH1 reality series Celebrity Rehab.
“DMX has been battling addiction for some time, and he’s in need of treatment,” says Gary Jenkins, attorney for the rapper who was busted in Arizona Tuesday for allegedly violating the terms of his probation by using cocaine.
It was the fifth arrest for the lyricist in the past year.
“We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him,” Jenkins says. “He’s a talented man. We’re praying for him.”

Here we go again! DMX was arrested — for the millionth time — in Arizona Tuesday afternoon for allegedly violating his probation by regularly using illegal drugs during the last nine months, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told Reuters this evening.
The rapper — real name Earl Simmons — reportedly told a probation officer that he has been using cocaine and hasn’t been complying with the terms of his treatment plan.
