Dr. Dre Sued For $1.2 Million Studio Bill

Dr. Dre is being sued for $1.2 million by Paramount Recording Studios, who accuse the acclaimed producer of failing to foot the bill for studio time.
According the suit, filed in Los Angeles last week, Paramount claims the ex-NWA frontman didn’t pay for use of one of their LA recording studios between April 2009 and June 2010. While Dre promised to pay the amount by July 13, but he didn’t do that either, prompting the suit.
Dr. Dre HP Computers Commercial
Dr. Dre is the latest hip-hop star to appear in an advertising campaign for Hewlett-Packard computers. In the ad spot, which premiered last month, the acclaimed producer and rap legend is shown at work on his long-awaited third solo album using the HP Envy 15 Beats laptop he created with the company last year.
The last rapper to hawk PCs for HP was Jay-Z, who starred in commercials for the computer in 2006.

It’s the Return of Dr. Dre. The reclusive super-producer has resurfaced in a new commercial for Dr. Pepper’s “Trust Me, I’m A Doctor” campaign.
The ad spot begins airing this Monday, June 1.
Dr. Dre Son Dead: Andre Young Jr. Death
Hip-hop legend Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his 20-year-old son.
Andre Young Jr. was found dead by his mother at the family’s Woodland Hills, California home early Saturday morning, AllHipHop.com reports.
“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son,” his rep Lori Earl says in a statement. “Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”
