Diva Mariah Carey transformed into a man for her new music video, “Obsessed,” at New York City’s Plaza Hotel yesterday.

Look like any one? The male-Mariah is said to be have been inspired by rapper Enimem, who has famously feuded with the pop star since she publicly denied dating him several years ago.

In an interview with RapRadar.com on Wednesday, Eminem confirmed what many fans have suspected since Sunday night’s 2009 MTV Movie Awards — he was in on the scene-stealing stunt that left a bareback Sacha Baron Cohen half-naked in his lap.

“I’m thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going ‘nuts’ so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it,” Em tells the site. And at the end of the show, what did he do? “After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours. Especially after I saw it on air.”

Eminem’s not having a great week.

The “Slim Shady” rapper had thousands of dollars worth of items stolen from his Los Angeles hotel room during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, The NY Daily News is reporting.

A diamond necklace worth $60,000 and a personal laptop are among the items missing.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Eminem scripted and rehearsed the butt-baring prank heard around the world at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards that nearly left the rapper’s face buried in the Bruno star’s crotch.

After a lively debate across the web that lasted much of the day, MTV’s head writer came forward late Monday to confess that both stars were in on the gag all along.

Writing on his blog, Scott Aukerman confessed: “Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged. They rehearsed it at dress (rehearsal) and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show….”

Looks like Eminem still has plenty of fans. Relapse, Em’s first LP in five years, has sold more copies in its first week of release than any other album this year. Relapse sold 608,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
