Foxy Brown has been hit with a lien from U.S. tax officials after running up debts topping $641,558.

The femcee is accused of failing to keep up with her taxes between 2003 and 2006, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents have taken their case to a court in New York to try to recoup the cash.

Acid-tongued femcee Foxy Brown is blasting a recent NY Post report claiming she and other celebs were given preferential treatment during their stay at New York City’s Rikers Island- insisting her time in prison was “the worst period in my life.”

The Brooklyn rapper spent seven months behind bars for violating her probation, stemming from a fight with two manicurists in a New York nail salon. She was released in April 2008.

“It was incarceration, not vacation. I only wore the designer clothing I was allowed to have. There were certain gang colors my sneakers couldn’t be… I didn’t have any special visitation rights,” Fox said in a statement Tuesday, denying rumors that she was treated differently from other inmates at the jail.

Foxy Brown, who once dated Rick Ross, has been dragged into the rapper’s feud with fellow hip-hop artist 50 Cent.

Foxy is reference in the new diss track “Try Me,” in which 50 says: “The cop fucked a fox.”

According to AllHipHop.com, Foxy Brown’s camp issued a statement saying she has no involvement in the beef, and ordering 50 to retract the statement. “Foxy is giving that nigga 24 hour [period] to retract that statement or she’s going handle [him] Brooklyn Style.”

50 Cent has responded to the threat with a new spoof-based video clip. titled “Pimpin’ Curly.”

Foxy Brown experienced a wardrobe malfunction while performing a medley of her biggest hits during a concert in Sacramento on Monday.

New York publisher Simon & Schuster Inc. has sued hip-hop stars Foxy Brown and Lil’ Kim claiming the hip-hop stars were paid advances for books they never delivered.

Foxy was paid $75,000 in 2005 to deliver an autobiography called Broken Silence by February 2006, whildLil’ Kim was paid $40,000 in 2003 for a novel due June 2004.

The publisher is demanding it’s money back in two lawsuits filed Thursday.

“Both accepted the money, and both books never were delivered,” Simon & Schuster spokesman Adam Rothberg said.

Foxy Brown is a free woman. The femcee was released from New York’s Riker’s Island to a crowd of waiting fans on Friday afternoon. Foxy’s new album, Brooklyn’s Don Diva, is scheduled for release on May 13th.

Foxy Brown, who will reportedly be released from New York’s Rikers Island later this month, is in talks to appear in her own VH1 reality show.

“The show will chronicle her life and what’s she’s been doing. The music business has changed, she’s been away for eight months, so the show will show her getting her life back on track.”

Foxy Brown’s request to leave prison to visit a specialist doctor to save her hearing has been denied by a judge in New York. The Brooklyn-bred rapper returned to court last week to seek permission to travel to California for an ear examination and for repair of an electronic ear implant. But during a court hearing on Thursday State Supreme Court Justice Melissa Jackson ruled Brown will not be granted leave to go to Los Angeles’ House Clinic. Prosecutors say the star can get the treatment she needs in New York.

Foxy Brown was back in court on Thursday to determine if she needs to be sent across the country to undergo hearing tests and have her electronic ear implant repaired. The rapper penned a four page letter to the court on Wednesday requesting that she be released from jail prior to her scheduled September release date to undergo ear surgery.

, Foxy was ordered to be examined by a doctor from New York City’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to determine if there is a medical necessity or urge for the rapper to see a doctor in California, who she says is the only person who can perform the operation.
