Mariah Carey will replace Janet Jackson on this week’s edition of Saturday Night Live. The “Touch My Body” star was tapped to appear as the musical guest on this week’s SNL after Janet was forced to cancel her scheduled performance due to a rocky battle with the flu. Mariah’s new album E=MC² will drop on April 15th.
Janet Jackson was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday night after a bout with the flu left the singer short of breath.
“Janet is fine. She’s just battling this flu like everyone else,” a rep for the star says.
Janet Jackson is writing a book on weight loss. The Discipline singer confirmed the rumors, which originally surfaced last October, in a new interview with Billboard Magazine.
