Jay-Z is planning to launch his very own arena in New Jersey – named after his Rocawear clothing brand. The thirty-seven year old is in talks with The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA) over naming rights to the arena in Meadowlands, which is currently held by Continental Airlines.

‘Blue Magic’ is reportedly the lead single off Jay-Z’s November 2007 release ‘American Gangster.’

Jay-Z is set to release “American Gangster,” an album inspired by the Frank Lucas biopic starring T.I. and Denzel Washington. Frank Lucas was a Harlem druglord in the 1970’s. Jay has already recorded nine tracks for the November 6th.

Jay-Z and Timbaland are being sued by an Egyptian music firm, who claim the stars illegally copied a melody from ‘Khosara, Khosara,’ a song from 1957, for Jay’s 2000 single ‘Big Pimpin.’
Jay-Z reportedly threatened to kill Rihanna by throwing her out of a twenty-ninth floor window unless she signed with Def Jam records. Read the rest of this entry »
