Is the insanely-secretive Jay-Z is planning to tell all about his marriage in a new book?

The acclaimed rapper is set to pen an autobiography in which he will open up about his life with wife Beyonce Knowles, despite their pact to never speak publicly about their relationship.

“It’s going to cover everything from his days on the streets as a drug dealer to his fairytale wedding to Beyonce,” a source told Britain’s Daily Mirror Wednesday.

“He’ll also be revealing his rapping secrets.”

Jay-Z is so frightened that his new album leaking onto the internet he will personally deliver the disc to the boss of Atlantic Records in London next week. Read the rest of this entry »

On Tuesday, hip-hop mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter confirmed recent reports that he has inked a three book deal.

“Yeah, the other two books though, you know I had to sign that deal,” Hov confirmed in an interview this morning. “I’ve done the deal to do a book and the name of it is called Decoded. It’s called Decoded because I’m going to decode all the lyrics from my records. I’m gonna pick the select ones, all the double entendres and things that people may have missed or may have gotten but want confirmation on it. That’s what the book is about, it’s called Decoded.”

A grief-stricken Janet Jackson appeared at the 2009 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The singing star brought fans a special message from her family in the wake death of her older brother Michael Jackson, who passed away suddenly last Thursday.

“My entire family wanted to be here tonight but it was too painful,” a choked-up Janet told the audience.

“To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family and he will forever live in our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself thank you for your love and support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.”

Jay-Z took to the stage at Sunday night’s 2009 BET Awards for a live performance of his hit single, “D.O.A.,” (”Death of Auto-Tune”).
