A private memorial service will be held on Monday for the mother, brother and nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson, who were shot to death in Chicago last Friday.
The Hudson Funeral Home, owned by a cousin of the actress, announced the service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Church of God.
Michelle Davis Balfour, the mother of William Balfour, who is accused in the Hudson Family Slayings, got into a shouting match with Nancy Grace as she tried to defend her son during an interview with the CNN anchor on Tuesday
Julia Hudson, the older sister of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson, has written a passionate tribute to her mother, Darnell, brother Jason, and 7-year-old son, Julian, who were all killed in the family’s South Side Chicago home on Friday.

VH1 reality personality Tiffany “New York” Pollard offers her condolences to love rival Jennifer Hudson in this vlog on the Hudson Family Tragedy in Chicago over the weekend.
Jennifer, whose mother and brother were murdered on the city’s South Side on Friday, is engaged to Punk, on of New York’s former suitors on the VH1 series I Love New York 2.
Chicago Police are investigating whether a body found on Chicago’s West Side this morning is that of 7-year-old-Julian King, the missing nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.
According to ChicagoBreakingNews.com, a child’s body was found inside a 1994 white Chevy Suburban with Illinois license plate X584859, the same SUV owned by Jennifer’s murdered brother, Jason.
Jennifer Hudson has offered a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her missing nephew.
“Jennifer Hudson and her family are offering a reward of $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew Julian King who has been missing since Friday, October 24th. We ask that all inquiries be directed to the Chicago Police Department, Area 1 Detective Division at 312/747-8380. Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian.”
Jennifer’s fiance, David “Punk” Otunga, posted a message on his MySpace page noting that “[Julian is] a sweet, innocent child who doesn’t deserve this. Please keep your eyes open for him.”

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama says he is “heartbroken” over the double homicide that claimed the lives of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and older brother in Chicago Friday.
“Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time,” the Illinois senator said in a statement Saturday. “We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew.”
Last August, Jennifer, who won an Oscar for her role in the 2006 film Dreamgirls, performed the National Anthem during the Democratic National Convention at the request of the Obama campaign.
“We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson,” Lisa Kasteler, a rep for the actress, said in a statement Friday. “No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
According to the Associated Press, Chicago Police are looking for William Balfour in connection with the slayings. Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for 7-year-old Julian King, Balfour’s son with Jennifer’s older sister Julia. They are seeking a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban.
