NBA Hall of Famer-turned-entrepreneur Magic Johnson is in talks to purchase Chicago-based Johnson Publishing Co, publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines, Bloomberg said on Friday.

JET is dedicating an entire issue to Michael Jackson in honor of the King of Pop’s passing last Thursday. The special collector’s edition will includes exclusive photos of The Jackson Five, vintage interviews with MJ, and pictures from the 25th anniversary celebration of Thriller in 2007.
