Nelly has been stepping out on longtime girlfriend Ashanti with British soul songstress Joss Stone, a new British tabloid report claims.

A friend of the Brit says Nelly, 33, is quite taken with the 21 year-old singing star, who also also been romantically linked to record producer Raphael Saadiq.

“Joss and Nelly have been out on a few dates together,” the spy says. “It’s early days but we haven’t seen Joss this happy in quite a long time.”

“It’s great she has met someone as successful as she is and who understands the pressures being a performer can put on your life. And it helps that he is hot too – he is just her type.”

Joss Stone makes now qualms about the fact that she hates Christina Milian, who is the ex of her ex, Ben Dozier.
