Kanye West is holding firm to his professed MTV boycott. The rapper was a no-show on Tuesday afternoon’s episode of TRL. Kanye and 50 were both expected to appear on the show to promote their albums, “I threw him off the show.” 50 added, “He’s nervous. You think he had problems with MTV? Nah, he knew he had to be here today.”
Kanye West, whose ‘Graduation’ album hit stores today, made the NYC radio round on Monday. The Chi-Town bred rapper is sounding of on MTV’s ‘exploitation,’ a second year of VMA snubs, and his decision to never work with the network again.
One day after blaming racism for his 2007 MTV VMA opening ousting in favor of Britney Spears, Kanye West has vowed to never return to the network’s Video Music Awards. Kanye began yelling about losing all five categories for which he was nominated. Read the rest of this entry »

Kanye West and 50 Cent will appear on BET’s ”106 & Park” on Tuesday, when both their heavily anticipated albums hit the stores. 50 Cent has said he’d retire if Kanye’s ”Graduation” outsells his ”Curtis” album in their first week.
